Go through and read the whole thing. It’s a great summary of why I was pretty resistant to Tumblr all this time, and why my recent embrace of it is less to do with ideal (or idealized) long-form music discussion and more as a way to send out random things and thoughts to the world in brief.
There is of course excellent work being down throughout Tumblr but its fundamental flaws remain that.
